BRINGING HOPE IN THE STREETS

Join us as we take steps of faith and follow Jesus’ example and the commandment to take the Word out into the streets. We want to get to know the people of the community and establish a relationship with them. Our mission is to share God’s love and compassion for those who are hurting and in need. This outreach is a perfect opportunity to do missions right in our community.

Everyone is welcome singles, couples, and entire families.

If you serve as a team member with the Hope in the Streets Ministry, you make an awesome impact in the community. We look forward to having you come alongside, once again, and serve at our next outreach.

Our next Hope in the Streets event will be an outreach to families in need in Escondido.

We will meet at 10:30am

 

The event will begin at 12:00pm. There will be groceries, clothing, backpacks with school supplies and other items available for the community. No need to sign up for the event, just show up.

We will be setting up tables, sorting clothing, packing groceries and packing backpacks with school supplies in preparation for the outreach.  No need to sign up for the event, just show up.

  • People needed to help distribute outreach flyers at Palmilla Apartments in Escondido a week or two before the event.

  • 2-3 people needed to help load tables, pop-up awnings, clothing and other outreach items onto the church truck at 8:30am on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Maranatha Chapel.

  • Need one person to transport a barbeque gas grill, propane tank and BBQ items from Maranatha Chapel on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 9:30am to Palmilla Apartments in Escondido and return the grill to Maranatha Chapel after the outreach event.

  • Two trucks needed to pick up boxes of fresh fruit, vegetables, breads and other food items from Carmel Mountain  area at 9:30 am and transported to Palmilla Apartments in Escondido on Saturday, July 30, 2022.

  • Need 3-4 people to help transport the backpacks to Palmilla Apts from Maranatha Chapel on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 9:30am.

  • Need two people to help offload tables, pop-up awnings and other miscellaneous items from the truck at Maranatha Chapel on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 2pm.

  • Hope in the Streets backpack and school supplies outreach.  We are collecting backpacks and school supplies for our Hope in the Streets outreach in July.  Please drop off any donations labeled for Hope in the Streets at the church anytime through July 17th.
