THREE COMPONENTS OF GRIEFSHARE:
DVD
Each GriefShare session begins with a video dealing with specific topics designed to help participants walk through the unique aspects of the grief journey. The focus on God’s Word helps individuals experience grief from a Biblical perspective. Each session is carefully prepared to give practical guidelines and advice to help one cope with the varied emotions during grief.
GROUP DISCUSSION
GriefShare is a safe place! Participants do not have to talk if they are not ready to share. Everyone will benefit from the group discussions led by our experienced facilitators. Those who are ready to share find comfort and relief, and those who just want to listen find encouragement and reassurance.
WORKBOOK
The workbook has daily devotionals and reflections to help participants navigate through their journey from mourning to joy. It also shares personal stories of individual telling how God has restored their lives from a place of sorrow to hope and fulfillment.

SUPPORT FOR MOTHERS WHO HAVE SUFFERED THE LOSS OF A CHILD
Umbrella Ministries is a faith-based outreach whose mission is to offer comfort, hope, and encouragement to mothers who have suffered the death of a child.
GROUP DISCUSSIONS
The ministry offers support to bereaved mothers by:
Providing them with a safe place to work through the grief process alongside other Christian mothers who have shared this journey through the valley of the shadow.
Providing an opportunity for mothers to talk about their children through care and share groups that meet once a month in the home of a mother who also lost a child.
Providing a quarterly newsletter with articles of encouragement as well as an annual weekend conference for rest, recuperation, and saturation in God’s Word and His plan for their future.
