The focus of the Coggin’s ministry is evangelism and discipleship in the classrooms of African countries by creating and developing Roots to Fruits Christian Curriculum for Africa (R2F). R2F provides students with the tools of learning from a traditional and historical African context within a Biblical worldview. The overall objective is to produce godly students who come to know Jesus as their Savior and follow Him, and to understand and take pride in their rich African heritage.

Rita Bulegeya is committed to evangelism and discipleship among the Ugandan people and community of Masaka. She established FHLM SOAR Youth Project, which assists vulnerable youth with educational fees and requirements from secondary school up to technical or university level. It also assists with meals, clothing, housing, and medical care. In 2014 she established the FHLM Youth Center, which provides spiritual based programs to community youth.

Her ministry offers physical, spiritual, and emotional healing to former child soldiers, sees street youth transformed by the power of God, and addresses the root problems of spiritual and economic poverty with self-sustaining approaches.
