Women to Women Discipleship Groups
Do you sense God calling you:
If so, come visit the Women's Ministry table in the Foyer and get information about the new discipleship groups that are being formed for the Spring of 2010. Sign-ups begin the weekend of January 16-17 after services. In these groups you will be mentored weekly in a small-group setting by another woman who will stand alongside you as together we “…deny ungodliness and worldly desires and live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus.” Titus 2:11-13 Spring 2010 - Discipleship Groups
These groups Begin the week of Feb. 8 These groups are designed for women who desire to grow deeper in their walk with the Lord, to take a step of faith and join a small, intimate group in order to experience growth, fellowship, and be encouraged to be stretched in the disciplines of your day-to-day walk with God.

Learn how a woman can follow God and seek His heart in every area of her life including her husband, her children, her home, her walk with the Lord, and her ministry. There is peace and purpose for the woman who prepares her heart and mind to embrace God's plan every day. Join us for 14-weeks as we seek God’s heart for our lives.
Mondays from 9:30-11:30am in Scripps "Surviving a Spiritual Mismatch in Marriage" by Lee & Leslie Strobel*
Many Christians find themselves in an unequally yoked marriage. In many cases, a situation they had not intended at the outset. I encourage you, "do not give up hope." God's ideal for marriage is to bring oneness. This 12-week study will provide you with encouragement, guidance and practical Biblical insights on how to thrive in your marriage as we study the challenges of a mismatched marriage, how to make the most of your mismatched marriage, discover how your marriage is a mission field and how to manage other mismatches in your life.

Do you want to know God in a deeper way? Do you want to know how to place your identity in Christ alone? Join us for 8-weeks as we learn how to study God’s Word in a systematic manner and also how to dialogue with Jesus by journaling. Let us reason and study together to discover the joyful, clean, discerning, and confident life from the Book of 1 John.
Wednesdays from 9:30 – 11:30am in Carmel Mountain
“Growing in Christ” by The Navigators*
This is designed for the new Christian who wants to master the fundamentals of the Christian life as taught in God’s Word. You will be paired with a seasoned woman of God to learn about the assurance of salvation, answered prayer, victory over sin, forgiveness, guidance, putting Christ first in your life, relying on the Lord’s strength, the importance of the Bible, giving, the church, good works, and witnessing. After 14-weeks you will have a firm, scriptural foundation for your life and will grow toward a closer relationship with Christ. You will also be equipped to serve and walk with God on a daily basis with confidence and assurance.

Through miracles, parables, and relationships, Jesus shows how He is the fulfillment of God's promises of old. He is the Word, the Light, the Lamb—the eternal Son of God. Let the humanity of Christ move you as He feels your joys and pains, and let the deity of Christ awaken you to the life He has planned! Join us for 10-weeks as we explore the Book of John and discover “...but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, and that believing you might have life in his name.” John 20:31

From then on, we tend to base our relationship with God on our performance rather than on His grace. In the process, we forgo the abundant freedoms that come from not having to measure up. This 12-week study will open your eyes to living under the reign of grace.
