Join us for: Beading for Africa Missions Trip - We wil be coming alongside the Missions Ministry to prepare 600 jewlery sets [we're making necklaces] for the team to take to Africa in July. We are having work days on:

Wed. - 17th: 9am - noon - YEAH! 65 Completed!
Thu. - 18th: 9am - noon - YEAH! 140 Completed
Mon. - 22nd: 9am - noon - YEAH! 288 Completed!
Tue. - 23rd: 9am - noon
         and 4:30pm - 7:30pm - YEAH!! 478 Completed!
Wed. - 24th: 5:30pm - 7:00pm - YEAH!! 548 Completed!
Mon. - 29th: 9am - noon - CANCELLED - ALL DONE!
Tue. - 30th: 9am - noon - CANCELLED - ALL DONE!

Please bring any nice beads that you would like to donate and any tools to use [like pliers, nippers and layout boards].

Feel free to bring your daughter, your mom or a friend...the more the merrier [and the faster we will finish!]. There is no childcare for these dates and we ask that you leave small children at home [beads are a choking hazard]. You can email Jean with any questions at jean.guldner@maranathachapel.org . Girls' Night Out: Come join us for coffee & dessert, fun & fellowship and HIS VIEW with Kathy Priest. Save the dates for this summer's event! Girls' Night out returns on the last Tuesday evening of June [30th], July [28th] and August [25th]. Check the GNO web page for more details or to purchase tickets ONLINE.

Tuesday Bible Study:  We are currently on summer hiatus. There are a few small group summer bible studies being offered. If you would like to get plugged in, please call the Women's Ministry office and ask for Lisa Christy x131. We will return in the Fall '09 with an all new Women's Bible Study format. We will continue to meet on Tuesdays: mornings: 9:15 - 11:15 AM [childcare will be available at no charge] and Tuesday evenings: 7-8:30 PM  [childcare is available for the evening session, too]. Watch for sign-ups in August 2009 and check out our  Bible Study web page for complete information.

MOMS of All Seasons: We are on summer hiatus, but will begin again on September 9, 2009. We meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month. We meet from 9:30 - 11:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall. MOMS of All Seasons provides an opportunity for moms to pamper themselves with a special time of worship, refreshments, and sweet fellowship. Nationally recognized speakers, as well as women of faith at Maranatha Chapel, come to share and lift up women in all seasons of life. Childcare is available but you do need to pre-register your child. You can register ONLINE here or on the MOMS page or by calling (858) 613-7800 ext.197. Child care is now $3.00 for one child with a $5.00 cap for two or more children. NEW!! We now also offer a supervised classroom for home schooled children.

MOMS at the Park: MOMS of all Seasons is extending our summer get togethers to continue all year!! Join us at 4S Ranch Community Park [located near the Boys & Girls Club] every Wednesday morning from 9 - 11am. Come meet other moms and enjoy sweet fellowship and encouragement. Women to Women Discipleship Groups – Are you interested in having support through life’s struggles, being encouraged in your walk with the Lord, while at the same time being held accountable through the instruction of God’s Word? You will be mentored weekly in a small group setting by another woman who will stand alongside you as together we "...deny ungodliness and worldly desires and live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus." Titus 2:11-13. If you are interested in being discipled or have questions about what discipleship really means, please contact Michelle Kvandal at (858) 676-0966 or michellekvandal@aol.com.

Hearts for Helen - Our Widows ministry for all ages will meet on the first Monday of each month for Bible Study and a light lunch from 11 am to 1 pm, in the Fellowship Hall. If you would like to attend, please RSVP by calling Ruth Nissley at (858) 530-8725. (Transportation may be available upon request).
