Dan & Ronda Gordon

Dan grew up in Detroit, Michigan in a Christian home accepting Jesus as his personal Savior just before his 7th birthday. And then, when he was 16 years old, Dan felt that God was calling him into the ministry. After 3 semesters of Bible school, the Holy Spirit put a detour in Dan’s plans for ministry preparation bringing him back to Arizona to become a full-time employee and student. It was during that time, Dan met and married the love of his life, Ronda. God blessed their marriage with two children, Wes and Sarah.
After completing his degree in business at night school, God began opening many doors for Dan’s career and ministry opportunities for both Dan and Ronda allowing them to serve Him in Calvary Chapel’s in Arizona, California and Virginia. Then in 1997, after nearly 20 years of lay ministry, Dan was called to serve as the Pastor of Administration at Maranatha Chapel.
For the next eight years, God grew Dan as a pastor, a counselor, a teacher and a ministry leader. Then in December 2004, after much prayer, God confirmed His plan to Dan & Ronda and Pastor Ray, for the Gordon’s to establish a new fellowship in San Marcos. And to this end, Maranatha Chapel San Marcos was established as home fellowship just after Easter in 2005 and held it’s first Sunday morning service on October 16, 2005.
