Welcome to Vessels, Maranatha Chapel's Volunteer Ministry. Vessel's goal is to link volunteer servants to ministry needs. Opportunities to serve vary greatly according to the unique needs of each ministry. These opportunities can range from data entry, to working directly with people in the gazebo, to numerous other opportunities to use your gifts and skills. There is no greater joy than finding the perfect placement intended for you by God (1 Corinthians 12)!
Three Easy Steps Toward getting involved at Maranatha Chapel
We are so excited that you are considering becoming a volunteer at Maranatha Chapel!
Please prayerfully look through the information you'll read on this website, and carefully consider what you read. Please be sure to read the Letter from Pastor Ray. You can also click on the Volunteer Handbook and read through it.
Within this booklet and on this website you'll find the Volunteer Application and Consent and Waiver Form, which you can print out. The application helps us get to know you better and how you desire to serve here. When completed, put the application in an envelope marked "Attention: Volunteer Ministry" and turn it in to the Gazebo on the church grounds following Sunday morning services, or to the Maranatha Chapel office during regular business hours. The Volunteer Coordinator will contact you for an informal interview within a few weeks.
Following this interview, you will be offered an opportunity to volunteer within a ministry that has a need. We'll introduce you to the staff member or ministry leader to whom you will directly report, and he or she will give you additional orientation concerning that particular ministry and its needs.
Now click to Pastor Ray's letter and to the other buttons on this site for more information and details about how you can get involved.
