AID TO HAITI -- How you can help...The great tragedy in Haiti has mobilized aid from all over the world, and Maranatha Chapel is joining the effort by coming alongside Samaritans Purse http://www.samaritanspurse.org/, an international relief organization headed up by Franklin Graham.
Maranatha Chapel has already made a financial commitment to the effort. If you would like to help, you can send your donations to Maranatha Chapel, and in the memo line of the check, designate Haiti and all proceeds will be forwarded to Samaritans Purse. If you would prefer to donate online, please go directly to Samaritans Purses website HERE. http://www.samaritanspurse.org/
Samaritans Purse dispatched a team within hours after the quake struck.
Please continue to pray for Haiti, which has already been struggling to recover from four devastating hurricanes that struck the island just over a year ago, and is considered the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere.
Pray for the people, for the workers coming to their aid, and for the love of Jesus to be shared freely, bringing a message of hope and compassion alongside the desperately needed practical aid. Pray for those who are going in to pull people from the rubble, and for food, medical assistance, clean water, hygiene supplies, tents, and other emergency assistance to arrive as soon as possible. Pray for those who have lost loved ones, and those who are struggling to survive.
I pray that we can help and bring HOPE into the midst of this tragedy.
God bless you,
Pastor Ray
